We were also privileged to sit in the flight simulator. Three screens next to each other to simulate the view out of the front and side of the aircraft. Way high tech. The man in charge said that their best Air Force pilots were early computer game nerds. |

Col. Mai. (pronounced "May - eye") His nickname was
"Mother." He flew 41 sorties over Kuwait and Iraq during
Operation Desert Storm. The enclosure that housed this
expensive aircraft was rated as being able to take a hit
from a 500 lb. bomb, without harming the aircraft.
