In the early 1980's
- here's Allsup with a gift from Shector guitars. A white
"strat like" beauty it was. Had gold hardware on it. This
was taken backstage in a shower at the gig. Tony Joe White
of "Polk Salad Annie" fame was also on the show. Michael
says that Tony Joe really had a cool "Elvis, Memphis
sounding" thing going with his speech. No put on, either.
Just his natural way of talking. A great talent and nice guy
with real charisma.
